These instructions also apply to using watercraft lunch and trailer dump sites.

Find the pay station and fill out a fee envelope, include your pass number

Put the fee envelope into the payment drop box. Leave the envelope receipt on your vehicle's dashboard

If there are no fee envelopes, write "Pass Holder" and your pass number on a piece of paper and put that on your dashboard.

Always keep your pass with you. We don't recommend leaving your pass displayed in your vehicle, this can lead to theft.

Using your disabled permanent parking placard

Washington state residents who have been issued a disabled permanent parking placard from Washington Department of Licensing, can use their placard in lieu of a Discover Pass when parking at Washington State Parks. It also qualifies the placard holder to 50% off one campsite or moorage site per night. You'll need to bring the ID card that goes with your parking placard.  Park staff will ask to see both your placard ID card and your state ID card.

The disabled temporary parking placard doesn't qualify for this discount. For those who have a disabled temporary parking placard, please apply for the 1- & 5- Year Disability Pass.
