Saddle up for a deep-forest adventure at Lewis & Clark State Park. Horses are welcome at this 616-acre camping park set in a stand of old-growth forest. Hiking trails, games, picnicking and camping are available for riders and non-equestrians alike at this charming, woodsy park.
On the 8 miles of equestrian trails, hikers must observe trail etiquette and give the right of way to horses.

On the 8 miles of equestrian trails, hikers must observe trail etiquette and give the right of way to horses.
Lewis & Clark offers 8 miles of multiuse trails for equestrians and hikers. Five primitive equestrian campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A group camp that accommodates up to 50 visitors is available for reservation. It features fresh water, a stove, picnic tables and vault toilets.
A kitchen shelter that accomodates up to 100 guests is available to reserve through the central reservation system online or by calling (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688.
A smaller kitchen shelter with electricity is available on a first-come, first-served basis
A day-use Community Hall that accommodates up to 200 guests is reservable by calling the park office at (360) 864-2643.
An outdoor amphitheater is available on a first-come, first-served basis and the park has a playfield, swing set and three horseshoe pits available for day-use.
The nearby Jackson House State Park Heritage Site offers visitors a fascinating peak into Washington State history.
