Effective immediately, the boat launch is closed to trailered watercraft. Hand-carried watercraft (such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards) may still be launched at this site. Please note: Kayak and paddle board rentals are no longer available through the park store.

Lake Sylvia State Park

1812 N. Lake Sylvia Road, Montesano, WA 98563

Set beside a charming, placid lake, Lake Sylvia is a popular park with a classic Western Washington forest feel. Cast a line from the fishing bridge in summer or take in seasonal colors on a fall hike around the lake.

Camping

The park has 31 standard campsites, 4 walk-in sites, 2 hiker/biker sites, 3 partial hookup sites, and one group camp. Additional amenities include a sewer dump station with fresh water, restrooms, and showers. Campsites are reservable from April 1 - Sept. 30.

Picnic and day use facilities

The park features two reservable day-use facilities. The Legacy Pavilion is a fully enclosed space that accommodates up to 60 guests, with optional retractable walls that open to a scenic lake view. The Beach Shelter, located in the day-use area, provides a charming setting ideal for smaller gatherings. Additional park amenities include a swim beach and an ADA-accessible playground.

Trails

There is one half mile of ADA hiking trails and five miles of hiking and biking trails at the park, including a loop around the park's namesake lake.
