The Pretzel Tree Trail is a self-guided .03-mile interpretive trail adjacent to the main trailhead. Follow the adventures of a field mouse as he meets other forest critters and discovers their connection to the ecosystem on Squak Mountain in his search for the Pretzel Tree. Although the Pretzel Tree was unfortunately blown down due to a bomb cyclone in 2024, the interpretive trail remains open for use. Efforts to help the field mouse find a new tree are ongoing.
