Entrance consolidation project has been completed. The east and west park entrances will be closed indefinitely to through traffic. Visitors may access the park through the new entrance at 625 Bear Creek Road.

Spring through fall at Pearrygin Lake is a water enthusiast's dream with 11,000 feet of waterfront and a boat launch with a dock. Enjoy the shrub-steppe landscape backdrop as you fish in the spring-fed lake or hike the 3.1-mile long Rex Derr Trail.
When staffing levels allow, campfire programs are conducted every Tuesday and Thursday night from June 15 – Labor Day.

Winter activities
Winter changes the landscape and activities. Tromp through the snow with fat tire bikes, snowshoes or cross-country skis. Snow play is also encouraged.
Parking areas and roads are plowed and maintained for these winter festivities.
