Retreat Centers

Retreat centers were established as youth camps (environmental learning centers) in the 1950's. These specialized overnight facilities may be rented by large groups for a variety of recreational and educational experiences.

Retreat centers provide overnight facilities for a variety of large groups such as schools, churches, non-profits, businesses and families. These facilities offer accommodations in a natural environment with access to a variety of recreational activities.

Facilities vary in size and layout and include overnight lodging as well as kitchen, dining and meeting space. Kitchens provide necessary equipment for groups to prepare and serve meals. Dining and meeting spaces have tables and chairs to accommodate guests up to the facility capacity. Overnight lodging includes restrooms and showers.

Reservations

Reservations may be requested one year in advance of  arrival date starting at 7:00 a.m. To request a reservation, submit a reservation request form to Retreat.Centers@parks.wa.gov (the form is best submitted using Edge or Chrome browsers and is not designed for mobile devices).

Groups may view potential availability at washington.goingtocamp.com. However, reservations cannot be made online.  State parks program staff coordinate all retreat center reservations. For instructions on viewing availability, please email Retreat.Centers@parks.wa.gov.
