





Wildfire season is here and impacting several parks, so make sure you’re in the know before you go. Before you head to a park, please check its page or head to our alerts page for closures, alerts and other important information to make sure you have a fun, safe and informed trip.
Gas/propane self-contained camping stoves and portable gas/propane fire pits allowed. No charcoal or wood fires allowed.
Due to recent wildfire damage, a portion of the Rex Derr Trail is closed until further notice. For your safety, do not enter the closed portion of trail.
The east fishing dock will be closed beginning Sept. 2 for replacement. Work expected to be completed by June 2026. Bank fishing is still available.

Pearrygin Lake State Park is a perfect escape to enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, or even snowshoeing and Nordic skiing. With 1,186 acres to enjoy, you’ll have to find a way to be bored here.
A new consolidated entrance is open, replacing the old east and west entrances. Visit the new welcome center and access the park at 625 Bear Creek Road.
Although many county roads allow for off-road vehicle (ORV) use, ORV use is prohibited within Pearrygin Lake State Park. Visit the Okanogan County webpage for a list of roads open to ORVs.
Boat launch opens first Friday of April, depending on snow and ice conditions on the lake. Okanogan County boating regulations, waterski and personal watercraft use is allowed:

Spring through fall at Pearrygin Lake is a water enthusiast's dream with 11,000 feet of waterfront and a boat launch with a dock. Enjoy the shrub-steppe landscape backdrop as you fish in the spring-fed lake or hike the 3.1-mile long Rex Derr Trail.
When staffing levels allow, campfire programs are conducted every Tuesday and Thursday night from June 15 – Labor Day.

Winter changes the landscape and activities. Tromp through the snow with fat tire bikes, snowshoes or cross-country skis. Snow play is also encouraged.
Parking areas and roads are plowed and maintained for these winter festivities.
