Due to seasonal flooding, the following partial utility sites are removed from the reservation system and are available on a first come first service basis only from October 1, 2025, through May 14, 2026.

Pacific Beach State Park

This small camping park northwest of Aberdeen features camping sites next to the roaring Pacific Ocean. Explore the flat and sandy beach, fly a kite, play in the sand and fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves.

The Washington Coast sometimes has strong winds that whip up water and sand. Visitors are advised to take precautions in these conditions, especially when using fire or personal watercraft.

Campfires

Wood-burning campfires are not allowed in Pacific Beach State Park. Portable gas/propane firepits are allowed. You may also use portable gas/propane and charcoal barbecues. Campfires are allowed on the beach but must be at least 100 feet away from dunes and vegetation. Please refer to the Burn Ban information at the top of this page for up-to-date restrictions.

Beach driving

Vehicle traffic is allowed seasonally on portions of the beach. Driving is allowed only on the uppermost hard-packed sand, and all the rules of the road apply, as on a public roadway. The speed limit on the beach is 25 m.p.h. All-terrain vehicles are not allowed in the park or on the beach or dune areas.

Camping

This oceanfront campground with stunning views offers 16 standard campsites, 41 partial hookup sites, and two yurts. All hookup sites are electricity only. Additional amenities include a sewer dump station with fresh water, as well as ADA-accessible restrooms and showers. Please note that the park road is one-way and all RV's are required to back in. 

Picnic and day use facilities

Eight unsheltered picnic tables are available first come, first served. If you are visiting with a large group, carpooling is advised as day use parking is very limited. 

Fishing and shellfish harvesting

This park offers easy access to saltwater fishing and razor clam harvesting during open season. A recreational license is required for fishing and shellfish harvesting at Washington State Parks. For regulations, fishing season information, or to purchase a recreational license, visit the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
