Kanaskat-Palmer State Park is a camping park on a forested plateau next to the rushing whitewater of the Green River. Have a heart-pounding rafting adventure, fish, hike and enjoy a leisurely campout.

Rafting and kayaking on the Green River is for experts only. Watercraft launch is by hand only at no cost.
A recreational license is required for fishing and shellfish harvesting at Washington State Parks. For regulations, fishing season information, or to purchase a recreational license, visit the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
The local fire station uses a siren to summon volunteer firefighters for duty. The siren may be activated at any hour of the day or night and can create noisy conditions for campers and visitors. There are also BNSF railway tracks near the park, campers may hear train noise, although this is rare.

Picnic and day use shelters
There is one large reservable kitchen shelter with water, electricity and two standing barbecues. Picnic shelters and unsheltered picnic tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Camping
There are standard and partial-hookup sites, with a maximum site length of 50 feet (limited availability). One group camp is available for up to 80 people. If you're looking for a more unique overnight stay, yurts are available with accessible restrooms and showers nearby.
