Camping

The park has primitive to full-hookup sites to accommodate every level of camping experience. Campsites are large, paved driveways that will accommodate larger RVs. Maximum site length is 60 feet with limited availability.

Yurts are also available to reserve year-round. Most yurts are ADA accessible and some are pet friendly.

Seasonal Flooding Advisory

Due to heavy coastal rainfall, Grayland Beach State Park experiences seasonal flooding that may affect approximately 50+ campsites. These sites are most susceptible to flooding during the shoulder season, from Nov. 1 through April 15. Conditions may vary depending on weather patterns.

As a result, these campsites are offered on a first-come, first-served basis only during this period. Guests are encouraged to evaluate site conditions upon arrival and plan accordingly.

Winter Schedule

Learn about seasonal closures and operational changes during the off-season on the Winter Schedule page.

Beach/Trail Access

Grayland Beach State Park offers five marked trails that wind through grassy dunes and provide access to the sandy beach. During the Shoulder Season, from November 1 through April 15, these trails may experience flooding due to seasonal weather conditions, which can limit or temporarily restrict beach access. Visitors wishing to explore the trails during this period are advised to come prepared with knee-high boots or waders.

A county-managed road also allows public vehicle access directly onto the beach.

Welcome Center and Store

The Welcome Center/Park Store is open daily.  Open office hours vary by the season:

Shoulder Season: Sept. 16th - May 14th, Office Hours 10:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. and 2:00p.m.- 4:00p.m.

Peak Season: May 15th - Sept. 15th, Office Hours 10:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.

During office hours, the park store sells firewood, ice, snacks and some camping supplies for your overnight adventures.  New to 2026 we now offer park branded sweatshirts and "Washington State Parks" camp mugs.
