Picnic and day use facilities
Four picnic shelters and nine picnic tables are available on a first come, first served basis. One kitchen shelter is available by reservation. Make sure you get a Special Activity Permit if you're planning to host a group event such as a wedding or sports competition.
Camping
If you arrive on a human or wind powered watercraft, one primitive campsite is available on a first come, first served basis. This campsite is part of the Cascadia Marine Trail (PDF).
Additional camping is available at nearby Fort Ebey State Park.
Hiking
A section of the 1,200-mile Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail (PNT) travels through the park and you can hike on it from West Beach to Fort Ebey State Park. The PNT stretches from the Pacific Coast in Olympic National Park to the Rocky Mountains in Montana. Every year, adventurous backpackers from around the world attempt to walk the entire trail. Visit www.pnt.org to plan your trip on the PNT.
A small trail system within the park takes you through varied terrain including forests, wetlands, and fields.
