Shine Tidelands State Park is a day-use park with a sandy shoreline along Bywater Bay. A peaceful stop while traveling through the Kitsap Peninsula or for admiring stunning views of Hood Canal, this park offers a picnic area and beachy fun.

Located just off State Route 104, just north of the Hood Canal Bridge, this sandy shoreline is popular with kayakers, paddle boarders and beach walkers. This park also offers a small wetlands area for excellent local wildlife and birds viewing. Shellfish lovers will enjoy low tide harvesting during clam and oyster season, which make it a popular site for locals. If you are looking for a small get-away, this little secluded park is just your ticket to an outdoor adventure.

Day use only

This park only has parking. Restrooms and picnic tables are not available.
