An interpretative hike around the lake in Battleground Lake State Park. The hike will take about one and a half to two hours. During the hike visitors will learn about the park and its resources.

Where to Meet: Gathering spot is the large, covered shelter in the day use area

Restrictions: No pets. Must be able to climb a few hills, hiker must be prepared for unstable footing. Ideally group sizes are about 20 but can be larger.

Registration Required: Yes, registration is required, registration can be done by calling the park phone and leaving a message or signing up at the park itself. Will create an online sign-up form.

Things to bring: Water, weather appropriate clothing, good hike shoes

Cancellation Information: If cancelled due to weather will do short informative program of hike under shelter or alert people ahead of time.
