Description: From Fort to Forest: Discover the Transformation of Fort Townsend. Start your New Year amongst the magical forest of Fort Townsend State Park! Join us for coffee and snacks, guided and self-guided hikes, and learn about a hidden gem just outside the city limits of Port Townsend. Dogs are welcome to join in the festivities. All dogs on leashes will receive a Bark Ranger Bandana as a reward! During the guided hike, visitors will learn about the park's history while enjoying beautiful views of the parade grounds, Port Townsend Bay, and the diverse forest. Please email interpretive specialist Kelsey Lang to reserve your spot on the hike.
