Volunteer Event - Thinning - Forest Health
Riverside State Park - Bowl & PitcherWe will be using hand saws and loppers to remove small diameter trees within large clusters of tree stands off of Tr. 211. Removing trees within this dense canopy will allow more space, water, and light for more mature trees to grow larger. From the Bowl and Pitcher parking lot, it is less than a 1/2 mile hike into the site where we will be cutting.
