Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Looking for a fun, educational activity for the entire family?

There are now Nature Backpacks available for check-out at Bay View State Park! Each backpack includes educational materials and a set of kid-friendly tools to help young explorers learn about nature. Inside, you’ll find binoculars, observation tools, colored pencils, a field journal, books, activities and more.

Visit us at the Bay View Registration Station to request a Nature Backpack. You can borrow a backpack for either 48 hours or one week.
