Overview

At the peak of Mount Constitution, the Summit Visitor Center offers interpretive experiences inside and out.

Additional information

Outside the center, interpretive displays highlight the ecology and geology of Mount Constitution and the surrounding island chain. Climb the stone stairs of Mount Constitution Lookout Tower to take in a nearly 360-degree lay of the land.   

Inside the center are additional displays about the Civilian Conservation Corps, the traditional Coast Salish people and a raised relief map of Moran State Park.  There is also a gift shop run by Friends of Moran State Park, the nonprofit organization in support of Moran State Park. The center is accessible by bike, hiking or vehicle, parking is limited. A Discover Pass is required to park.

From December through March, Mount Constitution Road may be closed due to winter driving conditions, downed trees and public safety. Visit Moran State Park's webpage for closure alerts.
