Come along on a hike with an interpretive ranger and learn all about the exciting history and ecology of Cape Disappointment State Park! Hike locations vary, so please double-check you have the correct trailhead for that day's hike.

Sunday - Sticks and Stones: Meet at 11am at Beard's Hollow for a 1-mile-long hike following a fallen tree on its journey from the forest to the sea, as it completely reshapes land and water at every stop along the way!

Monday - Quilted Rainforest: Meet at 11am at Coastal Loop Trail for a 1.5-mile journey through a coastal rainforest where you'll learn all about how patches of habitat form the mosaic-like ecosystem of our forests.

Tuesday - Shipwrecks to Safe Passage: Meet at 11am at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center to join a ranger on a 1.2-mile hike to Cape Disappointment Lighthouse and discover along the way how 200 years has changed the deadliest bar crossing in the world.
