Wildfire season is here. Approximately 85 percent of WA's wildfires are caused by people. Do your part to protect your parks. Before visiting, check park alerts and burn restrictions before lighting any fires.
Canoe Families Celebration
The Chehalis Canoe Journeys, Nisqually Canoe Family, Puyallup Canoe Family, and Skokomish River Road Canoe Family and Parks partner to offer this event to raise awareness of the rich cultural heritage of the Tribes. From 11am-3pm, visitors can join the Tribes’ canoe families for a ride in their wood dugout canoes and share a traditional meal. The family-friendly event includes free canoe rides, children’s activities, cultural displays, and free hot dogs and s’mores.
Bring your own folding chair and a picnic lunch. Rain or Shine!
