When: Wednesday, April 29th 11AM-3PM

Where: Equestrian Day Use Area (Arena)

Overview: Riverside State Park consists of 9,194 acres along the Spokane and Little Spokane rivers. Recreational opportunities include mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, boating and more!

Getting There: From West Trails Road/Government Way, turn North onto N Riverside State Park Drive. Take your first right to head towards the Equestrian area. Follow the road to its end and park. We will meet in the parking area and then head to the Arena (1 minute walk from trailhead).

Project Description: We will be working on the Equestrian Day Use Arena to begin its repairs. The Arena was installed a little over a decade ago and since then has started sagging in some areas and the paint is fading and chipping. Project activities include: sanding/scraping old paint off of the fence, removing rail boards and posts where fence is failing, reset posts in the ground, attach new rails, and begin painting the fence.
