Guided Hike: How Calamity Creates the Coast - Cape Disappointment

No registration is required. Annual or One Day Discover Pass is required for vehicle access. Discover Passes are available online and at park entrance.
Take a hike with a ranger across the beach to learn exactly how the land you're walking on came to be!
From undersea eruptions to ice age floods, come hike the coastal dunes and Benson Beach to learn more about the geologic history of the PNW coast! This hike is every Saturday at 11am. Meet at the Benson Beach Trailhead located on the right-hand side at the end of North Jetty Road. Hike is a 1.5 mile loop on flat, sandy ground. Dress for weather (especially wind!).
