Volunteer Stewardship Project - Beacon Rock State Park

Event location: Beacon Rock State Park
Give back to Beacon Rock State Park by volunteering for a fun and rewarding volunteer project including removing invasive species, light trail maintenance, brushing, pruning, and related restoration work.

Volunteers will be introduced to Leave No Trace and learn more about stewardship education. This event is part of the Bonneville Lock and Dam & Beacon Rock State Park Leave No Trace Spotlight.

Important information:  
– Bring water, snacks, a hat, sunscreen, and dress for the weather.
– Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
– Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required.
– Tools & supplies provided, but please bring work gloves if you have them.
– Work may entail bending, kneeling, crouching, light lifting and a short walk from the meeting spot.
– Meet at Doetsch Day Use Area Parking Lot
