Junior Ranger Program: Fort Worden

-
Event location: Fort Worden State Park

No registration necessary. Grab a Jr. Ranger booklet from the Park Office and arrive ready to learn about 5 minutes early to find a seat.

The Junior Ranger programs at Washington State Parks offer an exciting adventure for kids aged 4 to 12, combining fun and learning as they dive into the wonders of nature and history.

Through hands on activities and ranger talks, young explorers get to uncover the secrets of parks and historical sites. The programs each week are different, so you can keep coming back! See the program flyer for more information.

By completing the necessary number of pages in the workbook, kids will earn an official Junior Ranger badge! At the end of the ranger talk, a badge ceremony will take place for those who have finished their booklet. These programs aim to spark a lifelong love for conservation and cultural appreciation in the next generation.
