Waikiki Beach Concert Series: Tora'dan

-
Event location: Waikiki Beach Amphitheater

Free – no registration required.

Annual or One Day Discover Pass is required for vehicle access. Discover Passes are available online and at park entrance.

Join us to enjoy Tora'dan's music in the Waikiki Beach Concert Series at Cape Disappointment State Park.

Hailing from the vibrant and culturally rich landscapes of the Middle East, Tora'dan fuses traditional Azerbaijani Turkish music with the raw power of rock, crafting a uniquely captivating and intense sound. For the past 17 years, Tovas and Jan Porvas have performed together globally, fueled by their shared love for music. Tovas, a poet, writes and sings the group's songs in Azerbaijani Turkish and Farsi, while her husband Jan, a master musician, also sings, arranges the music, and plays keyboard and Tambur.
