Start the new year off right at Lime Kiln Point State Park! Employ all of your senses and come connect with nature in a new way on a self-guided forest bathing experience.

Featuring: Sensory stations. Nature journaling. Stamp scavenger hunt. Lighthouse tours. Artisanal tea generously provided by Inspired Earth, featuring flavors inspired by the forest. Reconnect with nature and yourself as we ring in 2026!

 

Length of Hike: Depending on the number of stations you choose to visit, your hike could be anywhere from 0.2 - 2.0 miles. Choose your own adventure!

Where to Meet: Find the Rangers next to the Interpretive Center (in the lower parking lot) to pick up supplies for your journey.

Suggested minimum age of children to attend: All ages welcome!

Are dogs allowed? Leashed dogs are always welcome at Lime Kiln Point State Park.

Restrictions: Terrain is varied, and there are some steep sections if you decide to hike to all of the stations. 

Registration Required: None

Things to bring: Wear comfortable, sturdy footwear appropriate for potentially muddy winter trails. Bring hiking poles if you like using them. Please dress extra warmly, as forest bathing is not a particularly fast-paced activity.
