First Friday Fire: How Adaptive Reuse Honors the Past in Today's Age
Join us for a cozy fire at The Lodge at Saint Edward State Park to learn more about the history of the seminary and park!
Saint Edward State Park's iconic Seminary and surrounding landscape has undergone a lot of change since it was first constructed. Join our Ranger to learn more about the fascinating history of this park treasure and how adaptive reuse helps keep history alive today! All ages welcome, may be best for youth 12 and older.
Meet at the Chef's Garden Patio (formerly the Carol Ann Wald Memorial Patio) and sit at one of the available chairs, benches, or picnic tables! Patio is accessed via a short gravel path, about 75 feet, from the paved path from the Lodge Valet to the Playground. Look for signs directing you to the Interpretive Program!
