2024 Mountain Melodies Concert Series
Singing, dancing and alpine air! This concert series at Lake Wenatchee State Park features performances by great musicians and dancers amid the majestic mountain lake views.
Time: All concerts are 8-9 p.m.
Location: South Park Amphitheater (Directions) at Lake Wenatchee State Park
Eduardo Mendonça & Show Brazil. Brazilian vocalist, composer, percussionist, guitarist, and musical arranger, Eduardo Mendonça has played and directed Brazilian music in the US, Canada, Nepal, and Brazil since 1974. A native of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, Eduardo and members of Show Brazil are a vibrant group who perform a variety of Brazilian music and dance traditions including bossa nova samba, música popular brasileira (Brazilian popular music), Ijexa (the music and rhythm from Candomblé religious rituals), Baiao (rural music from the state of Pernambuco), and Maracatú (an ancient Afro-Brazilian carnival tradition). Lake Wenatchee First Day Hike
This hike will be led by a Park Ranger, who will guide participants along the Wenatchee River, up to our North Beach for views across Lake Wenatchee, and then through our Pine and Douglas Fir forest, finally ending back at the North Reservation Booth for hot cocoa and light snacks! Along the way, our hike leaders will point out various historical aspects of our park, highlight notable stories and discuss some fun facts! One particular stop at our North Beach is a favorite, where participants tend to take a snack break, and we gather together for a fun group photo opportunity.

Guided Snowshoe Hike
Meet at Lake Wenatchee North Park Entrance and tag along with our park staff as they snowshoe 1.3 miles along the Wenatchee River, the shores of Lake Wenatchee, and surrounding forest. Participants can enjoy a well-packed route through parts of our park that are not always accessible in summer. Expect some historical talking points, nature interpretation, and views of Nason Ridge, Dirty Face, and North Beach
