*Due to unexpected construction work taking place throughout the summer on the hospital, this opportunity has been cancelled. We look forward to offering this opportunity after the work has been completed.

Did you know that the hospital was not only used for treating the sick, but also for playing games? Have you ever wondered what the inside of Fort Flagler's Historical Hospital looks like? Well, come explore and wonder no more!

Once inside, visitors will be able to view artifacts on displays, talk with a volunteer host about the history of the building, and play games like ping pong, foosball, chess, and more!

The first floor of Fort Flagler's hospital will be open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from May through August. (Note: the second and third floors are closed due to restoration needs.)

Directions

When entering the park, follow the main road and continue straight through the 4-way stop. Park in first parking lot on your right, in front of the museum. From there, walk around the museum, past the maintenance shop and first house. The hospital is the large three-story building and can be entered through the front or side door.

ADA parking is available on the backside of the hospital, by taking the first right after the 4-way stop. There is a sidewalk and ramp to enter the side door of the hospital.
