The Department of Natural Resources has issued a statewide burn ban restricting the use of outdoor burning, campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and prescribed burns on all forest lands within DNR’s fire protection, including all Washington State Parks, through Sept. 30, 2024. Join us at the South Park Amphitheater at 10 a.m. where Park Rangers will put on a fun, interactive, kid-friendly program based on the Junior Ranger Ethos and the natural world we live in. Please arrive 5 minutes early, children must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free to the public, however, day-use visitors will require a Discover Pass on their vehicle for parking.
