The Department of Natural Resources has issued a statewide burn ban restricting the use of outdoor burning, campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and prescribed burns on all forest lands within DNR’s fire protection, including all Washington State Parks, through Sept. 30, 2024. Description: New Year, New Trail! Join our interpretive specialist to check out our newest trail and celebrate the New Year at Dash Point State Park! Bring your sturdy, waterproof shoes for a trek through the forest where we’ll look for signs of winter wildlife. The trail may be muddy or slippery due to wet weather and may require stepping up or down, walking on uneven terrain, and will include a small creek crossing. This beginner friendly hike is great for visitors of all ages!
