Get your specialty State Parks license plate today.
Washington State Parks specialty license plate sales support some of your favorite programming and events at more than half our parks across Washington state and right in your community.
For every purchased plate and renewal, State Parks receives $28 that goes directly toward programs like:
- Our Junior Ranger programs and activity booklets for kids
- Visitor and Interpretive Centers and exhibits that tell the stories of our state
- Folk and Traditional Arts programming, including performances, concerts, workshops and festivals
If you love dancing at our summer concerts series, eating new foods at one of our many cultural festivals or learning new creative skills at an in-park workshop, you might want to pull up to your next event with a specialty license plate.
Or if your kids still talk about their Junior Ranger experience, crawling inside the model volcano at the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center or climbing the tower of the Admiralty Head Lighthouse, consider supporting their interest in history and the outdoors with a specialty license plate.

In 2025 alone, your support through the license plate program helped fund workshops, concerts and festivals, including:
- Japanese Calligraphy Workshop at Tolmie
- Concert at the Park at Yakima Sportsman
- Mountain Melodies Concert Series at Lake Wenatchee
- Rhythm on the River Concert Series at Lincoln Rock
- Salish Sea Day at Deception Pass
- Cambodian Cultural Celebration at Saltwater
- Ubuntu Nerudo African Heritage Cultural festival at Lake Sammamish
- Updated exhibits at the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center
- Junior Ranger books and badges statewide
