Directions & Maps

15 miles northeast of Tonasket. Take Havillah Road (County Road 9467) for 15 miles to Mill Creek Road (USFS Road 3230) for 1.5 miles to the upper parking lot or .3 miles to the lower lot.

3/4/24: 15 miles of trail groomed for classic and skate Nordic skiing. 6” new snow last week. Road plowed and sanded.

2/28/24: Groomed

2/26/24: About 15 miles of smoothed skating lanes, but no new tracks set. Parking Lot and road are very icy!

2/16/24: Groomed

2/14/24: About 15 miles of groomed Nordic ski trails. All the upper trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing. 6 inches of new snow last weekend. The road has been plowed and sanded.

1/18/24: Grooming at the Highlands continues. 12 inches snow at upper parking lot. The road is not plowed, but in good condition. 
Today we groomed the westside. Whitetail, Windsong, Pomme de Pin and the 150 road on the eastside. Tomorrow we will work on the eastside. Hopefully, next week we can open the lower trails. 

1/17/24: Highlands has about 15 miles of trails groomed for Classic and Skate Nordic Skiing. 12 inches snow at Upper Parking Lot. 4” new snow. 10 degrees F. Road is plowed and in good condition. All higher elevation trails are open. Hope to have lower trails open next week.

12/29/23: About 15 miles of ski trails packed. 3 inches snow at parking lot, with a 1 inch base, and no tracks set. Early season conditions.
