Have you ever wondered what that weird looking thing you found on the beach at low tide actually is? Join a ranger and Sound Water Stewards’ naturalist to discover the wonders of the tidal zone at Possession Point State Park.

Sturdy close-toed shoes, a water bottle, and reef-safe sunscreen are recommended.

To get to Possession Point State Park, make sure to take the first sharp right off Possession Road when you see the park sign. If you end up at the park with the boat ramp, you’re at the county park. Double back to Possession Road then take the immediate left down Franklin Road. Parking is limited, carpooling is recommended if coming as a group.
