Saint Edward First Day Hike

Moderate 2-mile hike led by Saint Edward Park Staff and the Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement. Enjoy hiking downhill to Lake Washington, you will hike along the largest green space along the north shores of Lake Washington and may see wildlife such as bald eagles, beaver, Douglas squirrel, and various waterfowl.

Restrictions: Hike will descend approximately 400 feet of a 1/2 mile and return uphill 400 feet over ¾ mile on uneven and possibly muddy terrain.

Things to bring: Beyond packing snacks and water and dressing for winter weather, we recommend people wear hiking boots. depending on your ability level hiking poles may be recommended.
