Join Ranger Kathy for a leisurely walk in the forest as we learn life lessons from our plant teachers.

Drawing from the book "Plant Teachings for Growing Social-Emotional Skills" rooted in lessons from the Coast Salish lands, we'll enjoy a slow stroll through the forest, learning from Grandmother Tree, Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, Licorice Fern and other plant teachers.

The route we'll take is roughly a mile out and back, with a short uphill climb on our return. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy, comfortable shoes.

All ages are welcome.
