What is the Sundaes Outside event series?

Sundaes Outside: A Celebration of Black Folks is an event series celebrating nature, the Black community, and their various skills, artistry, talents, cuisines, cultural practices, and influences. Sunday family gatherings have been a staple in the Black community- from church to family dinners, and so much more. Sundaes Outside Series uses this day of relaxation and celebration to uplift Black contributions outdoors.

What can you expect at Sundaes Outside?

Expect a celebration! Get to know local Black businesses and organizations, while enjoying the breadth of creativity from our highlighted guests.

Who is Sundaes Outside for?

Sundaes Outside is for you if you:

  • Are a Black person that wants to build community with other Black people and allies.
  • Are a non-Black person that respects, supports, and wants to build community with Black people and other allies.
  • Want to celebrate the contributions of Black people.
