Spokane Nordic's Barkerbeiner Skijor Race

Dozens of skiers and dogs gather in the Mt Spokane State Park Nordic Ski Area to compete in a variety of skijoring races at SNSA's Barkerbeiner.

Barkerbeiner consists of four separate races: a 2-dog race (6.5k), 1-dog race (6.5k), Junior race (6.5k), and a "Guess your time" 4.4k Fun Run.

This event takes place at the Nordic Ski area on Mt. Spokane. Proceed past the park office, turn right into the Lower Selkirk parking lot. Drive through the parking lot and turn right up the driveway to the Selkirk Lodge.

Bring snowshoes or spikes and come help brush trails on Mt. Spokane. We will remove encroaching vegetation and downed trees from the trail (handsaws, loppers, chainsaws).
