Nature's Timeline: Beach Bluffs
There are currently no future events scheduled.
Join us for a pop-up program about Fort Worden's bluffs! Stop on by our booth to learn about the evolving landscape and history stored in the layers of sand.
Bluffs are a constantly evolving natural landscape, rich in ecological and historical significance, and their preservation—as well as your safety—depends on responsible stewardship.
Come learn more about the importance of bluffs, how to recreate safely around them, and what history has been recorded in their layers of sand.
The pop-up booth will be located in the day-use area next to the Knapp's Circle parking lot. Please note that in the event of high winds or rain, this program may be cancelled. We will update this page if that is the case.
