Harstine Island State Park First Day Hike

Harstine Island State Park offers many beautiful sights with thick underbrush and a variety of different tree species. The planned hike will take you from the main parking lot (P-3) to the first parking turn out (P-1) with 2 scout trails back to P-3.

From Jarrell Cove State Park, take a right out of the park onto Wingert Rd. At the next stop sign take a right onto E North Island Dr. At the intersection where the community hall is, take a left onto E Harstine Island Rd N. Continue for approximately a mile and take a left onto E Yates Rd. On right hand side, take a right through the white gate. There is a vault toilet and parking available.
