Join park staff inside Battery Stoddard for a formal presentation on the history of the park! These free evening programs will rotate between four topics: How the Army Shaped the Forest, Women of the Fort, Nature's Timeline: Beach Bluffs, and The Fort Through the Ages.

Evening Program Topic Schedule:

Programs will be held in the hidden classroom at Battery Stoddard (located next to the JFK building and behind Alexander's Castle).

When entering the park: continue straight to the 4-way stop sign, then turn right onto Eisenhower Ave. Take a left at the park office onto Battery Way. Then take a right onto Alexanders Loop and park in the grass in front of the JFK building.

From the Upper Campground: Walk, bike, or drive down Battery Way, past the historical hospital. Turn left onto Alexanders Loop and continue past Alexander's Castle. Either park in the grass in front of the JFK building or continue hiking or biking to the end of Battery Stoddard.

From the Lower Campground: Walk, bike, or drive up Harbor Defense Way towards the main campus. Follow the road or sidewalk as it turns right onto Eisenhower Ave. Turn right onto Battery Way, and take your next right onto Alexanders Loop, continuing past Alexander's Castle. Either park in the grass in front of the JFK building or continue hiking or biking to the end of Battery Stoddard.

The program is in the back room of Battery Stoddard.

Tip: Look for Park Event signs.
