You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Ranger Guided Snowshoe Hike

Meet at Lake Wenatchee North Park Entrance and tag along with our park staff as they snowshoe 1.3 miles along the Wenatchee River, the shores of Lake Wenatchee, and surrounding forest. Participants can enjoy a well-packed route through parts of our park that are not always accessible in summer. Expect some historical talking points, nature interpretation, and views of Nason Ridge, Dirty Face, and South Beach. Call ahead to reserve your spot on the hike! (509) 763-3101

Be sure to bring your vaild Sno-Park Pass for parking.  Sno-Park Passes are also available for purchase within the park or online at https://epermits.parks.wa.gov/.

Check the weather and dress for conditions. Bring your own snacks and water for the hike. The trail is 1.3 miles long, with an option to extend your route on your own. The terrain along the guided route is mostly flat with minor dips in the trail. Expect the snow on the trail to be variable from nicely packed to minorly icy.

A limited amount of Snowshoe rentals are available to rent at the North Park entrance for FREE, be sure to call ahead to reserve your pair.
