Nolte State Park is a charming, laid-back day use park on Deep Lake near the Green River Gorge. Bring your family for a relaxing afternoon of swimming, kayaking, fishing and lazing in the grass.

There are ample spots to picnic at a picnic table or reserve a kitchen shelter for a maximum of 50 people.
The calm waters and sandy shores of Deep Lake are perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking.
Fish from the docks or anywhere on the lake in non-motorized watercraft.
Stretch your legs or take a quick bike ride on an easy 1.4 mile loop trail that rings the lake. Plenty of benches are located along the trail for you to sit and admire the water and wildlife. You can also learn about the flora and fauna of this area on the short self-guided interpretive trail.
