Millersylvania is a great park for camping in an old-growth forest, going for a hike, or playing in the water. Host a group event in one of the reservable kitchen shelters, book the group campsite, or find one of the many picnic tables. The lakefront has two swimming areas and a hand-carry only boat launch.
Stop by the ranger station/gift shop from Sun.-Sat. from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Grab a snack and rent a kayak, SUP, or paddle boat at Lakefront Boats and Bites (at beach near boat launch on the shores of Deep Lake). They operate Memorial Day through Labor Day. Visit them online, Facebook or on Instagram.
Sip a pint at Lakeside Tap Room, a small cabin in the woods with plenty of outdoor seating (at beach near Kitchen Shelter #2 on the shores of Deep Lake). Partnering with a local brewery, they serve up a variety of craft beer and cider as well as bottled beers, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. They operate Memorial Day through Labor Day. For a current menu, visit them online or on Facebook.
Reserve a glamping site from Pampered Wilderness. Six glamping tents have king-sized beds, linens, electricity and a coffee pot. Glamping is available from April through September. For information, visit them on Facebook.
