A dramatic cove with fantasy forest canopy and swirling sandstone formations will entice boaters to moor and explore the Isle. Located in the San Juan Islands, Matia Island Marine State Park is a secluded little island accessible only by boat.
Rolfe Cove, the campground, the loop trail and the beaches are open for public access. All other areas are closed to protect habitat and wildlife.
No potable water is available. The nearest potable water is on Sucia Island, and is available April - September.
No garbage service. Pack it in, pack it out.

Boaters may use the 128-feet moorage dock or the t buoys. Phone-in registration is available for overnight buoy usage.

Camping at Rolfe Cove Campground is first-come, first-served. There are six sites available. Potable water and trash service are not available.
The nearest fuel and grocers are at Gooseberry Point near the Lummi ferry dock and seasonally at West Beach Resort on Orcas Island.
