A quick paddle or boat ride will get you to Hope Island State Park between La Conner and Whidbey Island on Skagit Bay. Most of the island is a nature preserve that supports a delicate and diverse ecosystem.
Garbage must be packed out when visitors leave.
Dogs are not allowed on the island due to wildlife sensitive areas.

Located in Skagit County, Hope Island offers two buoys. You can pay for moorage by phone, visit the boating moorage page for more information.
The park offers six first-come, first-serve primitive campsites on the north shore bay. The pay station is near the eastern campsite. A vault toilet is in the woods 100-feet south of the campsites.
