Conconully State Park is a 97-acre park with 5,400-feet of freshwater shoreline. The park features beautiful views of forest, creeks, lakes and mountains. While fishing a popular activity, you can also waterski, swim, bird watch and ride off-road vehicles in the warmer seasons. Cross-country skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling are all available during the winter.
Located on the Conconully Reservoir, Conconully State Park is a desirable location for fishing. There are two lakes to fish from: the lower Conconully Reservoir on which the park sits, and the Upper Conconully Reservoir, also known as Salmon Lake. You can expect to catch smallmouth bass, rainbow trout and Kokanee salmon. The park has two boat ramps and one 80 foot boat dock for handling motorized and non-motorized boats. You can waterski, paddle board, or just take in the beautiful scenery from your rowboat, kayak, or canoe.
The park offers one reservable kitchen shelter with electricity and unsheltered picnic tables, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are looking to stay overnight, the park has standard and partial hookup sites, and five charming cabins near the lower reservoir. There are four restroom facilities (one ADA accessible) and four showers (one ADA accessible). Maximum site length is 75 feet (limited availability).
Though park facilities do shut down in the winter, the area offers snow play options including backcountry snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and dogsledding.
