Map & visitor guide

Take a 40-minute drive to the Hoh Rainforest and spend a day among moss and mushrooms. Visit popular sections of the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail (PNT), such as Rialto Beach, or stay in the park to hike along the PNT in the Bogachiel Rainforest. Enjoy dinner at Kalaloch or in Forks, where you can also pick up "Twilight" souvenirs for the vampire story fan in your family.

The PNT is a 1,200-mile-long footpath through some of the most spectacular and scenic terrain in the United States. To plan your trip on the PNT, visit the Pacific Northwest Trail Association website.

In midsummer, visitors have been known to float down a small section of river in the park.

Picnic and day use facilities

The park provides picnic tables in the upper day use area. The lower day use area has a kitchen shelter with electricity, lighting, a large grill and three parking spots, all available on a first-come, first-served basis. A restroom is located nearby.

Camping

The campground offers standard and partial hookup sites, as well as hiker-biker sites. The park accommodates RVs and combinations that are 40 feet or less in length.

The park has one group camp for tents only.
