Join us at the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center to commemorate the 46th eruption anniversary of the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens.
May is Volcano Awareness Month in Washington, so we invite folks to come and explore the volcano and talk with a park ranger. We’ll be open 9am-5pm daily. Check out our newly remodeled Visitor Center, with a new feature film and interactive exhibits.
- Volcano-themed craft station in the lobby
- Show-and-tell style ranger programs at 11am, 1pm, 3pm
- Mount St. Helens story-walk on the 0.6-mile wetland haven trail
- Museum and trail scavenger hunt
