Spend your Saturday morning exploring Deception Pass State Park and discover some of the common, and not so common, species of birds that call the park home.

Location: Lake Store (near the entrance of Cranberry Lake Campground)

The walks are an hour long and are a great opportunity for birders of all levels. Practice bird identification skills, explore unique bird habitats, and learn from other birders. We recommend bringing your own binoculars though we will have a few on hand to borrow.

Use the address listed above to navigate to the park. Please note this address will only take you to the general location of the park. Whether arriving from the north or south on SR20, you will come to a stoplight at the bottom of a hill. Turn west into the main park entrance. Drive past the welcome station and follow along the winding road until you reach a stop sign, then turn left. Take this road down the hill. At the stop sign, turn right into the campground. 

Restrooms are available in the campground.
