Join a Park Ranger and learn about the fascinating science of tree ring dating or dendrochronology, and explore the nearby, towering trees that skirt Cascade Lake.

From looking at past climates to dating ancient cliff dwellings, dendrochronology gives us glimpses into the past. Studying tree rings, we will learn how dendrochronology deepens our understanding of science and culture.
